PAYMENTS TO INLAND REVENUE

If you are an existing Westpac, ANZ, ASB, BNZ, or Kiwibank customer you can pay through their online 'tax payment' service. This will ensure sufficient payment reference details are included with your payment.

If your bank does not offer this service you can pay using IRD's Web site. Please make sure you enter the code for the correct tax type & the correct IRD number and period ending.

Electronic payments to Inland Revenue should be made to bank account number:

03-0049-0001100-27 or they can be made directly on IRD's web page https://www.ird.govt.nz

You can also make EFTPOS payments at any Westpac branch.

Note: Payments must be made before the end of online banking 'business' hours if they are to be received that same day. Please contact your bank if you are unsure of your bank's online payment hours.

If at any stage you are not able to make your tax payments with IRD you might be able to set up an Arrangement with them. This is applicable to Income Tax &GST payments. We can arrange this for you at a cost of $120+GST per arrangement plan.
